Curriculum

A curriculum designed for judgment, not memorization.

Every WBNC program combines a shared evidence-first foundation with specialist modules, applied case work, and professional standards. The result is a credential that reflects how nutrition practice actually happens.

The core

Four foundations shared by every credential.

The core curriculum establishes the knowledge and professional behaviors that every WBNC holder must demonstrate, regardless of specialist pathway.

Program-specific modules then extend those foundations into sports performance, weight management, or whole-person practice. Each module ends with applied work that tests judgment in context.

Learning model

Study, apply, reflect.

01

Structured study

Guided readings, recorded lessons, and evidence summaries build the scientific foundation for each module.

02

Applied practice

Case work, dietary assessment, planning, and simulated consultations turn knowledge into professional judgment.

03

Assessed reflection

Candidates document their reasoning, boundaries, and referral decisions, then defend those choices in assessment.
