The institution

An independent standard for nutrition practice

The World Board of Nutrition Certification is an independent standards body for the nutrition profession. We develop competency frameworks, assess candidates against published criteria, and maintain the official registry through which certificates are verified.

  • Competency standards developed and reviewed by nutrition scientists and practitioners.
  • Applied assessment of judgment, communication, and professional boundaries.
  • A permanent public registry that employers and clients can verify at any time.
